In 2010, we worked with the Rodale Publishing team to create a elegant app that complimented the Cook This, Not That! book series. Almost a year later the publishing giant has struck again, showing love to the Android community and those who are actively counting calories.

Once a month, AD60 will share their point of view with a number of different ad publications. This month it just happend that they all fell within a three day period. Not only was this totally awesome, it also just happend to all focus on social communication! So here is a quick recap of what we had to say.

Are you currently working on your first mobile application and are unsure which platform to build for? OR maybe you have an iPhone app and want to release an Android version. In both cases the natural instinct might be to identify the audience you are targeting, and though you would be right, you should never forget to analyze the platform and how that audience uses it.

At AD:60 it is our mission to be at the forefront of mobile development, we look to understand how the mobile universe is changing the way we as individuals, or more importantly we as consumers interact with other tools in our daily routine. Though the iPhone can be considered the holy grail of phones, it is the app alone, which can be viewed as the true game changer.

If you've been around a computer or in front of a TV today, you've probably heard all about the iPhone 4. Apple's latest update to its flagship phone is due out June 24, and its packed full of new features. One of the most interesting of those features is video capability. With the inclusion of two video cameras, one on each side of the device, the iPhone 4 seems like it could be a legitimate video conferencing tool. Apple's website advertises the video feature as a friend-to-friend tool, not an asset for businesses, but it's logical to think the next step could be the iPhone as a valuable tool for businesses engaging in video conferencing.

Mobile, mobile, mobile. I cannot remember the last time I had a conversation, read a tech article (or any article for that matter) that did not include some form of mobile interaction or discussion. I feel very fortunate to be where I am during a time when an industry has literally done a 180 and is now become the leading medium to for almost every new and existing industry. I love my smart phone and yes, it is an iPhone. The ability to experience fully rich desktop applications on my 3 inch monitor is pretty amazing. But as competition grows within the market, advertisers need to pay attention to things like market share.
