With the holiday season upon us, we are likely to be trigger-happy when it comes to buying gifts for family, friends or ourselves. Therefore, you might be opening bank and credit-card statements that are filled with long lists of charges. Some of these charges may be unexpected or unwanted, but they are comfortably masked by your recent spending sprees.
