Brooklyn Packed with Hidden Talent

Aside from the great restaurants, parks and shopping, there’s another reason why Brooklyn is the bee’s knees: it attracts comedians like nobody’s business. We love to laugh at AD:60, so naturally, we like to hit up local open mics after work. Affordable living and an accessible open mic scene make Brooklyn a prime location for comedians looking to get their start.

Open Mic Nights always showcase a range of talent: from nervous first-timers stuttering through jokes, to more seasoned professionals testing out new material. Occasionally, a comedic rapper or an up-and-coming improv team will join the cast of characters dedicating their free time to the art of laughter.
