YouTube For a Good Cause

Al Gore is getting on board the video blog train for Earth Day 2010. You Tube’s Video Volunteer Series invites users to get paired up with local volunteering opportunities and create videos to support your favorite causes. Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection is asking users to make and upload their own Earth Day videos. The incentive is that people have a chance to promote themselves and their organizations on a huge online medium, while doing good for the planet.
The 40th annual Earth Day celebration will take place on April 22 and YouTube’s deadline for submitting a Video Volunteer clip is April 19.
