AD:60 Picks Their Favorite Superbowl Ads
February 9th, 2010
Hundreds of wings, thousands of beers, millions of dollars and four hours later, the New Orleans Saints were crowned this years Superbowl Champions. While the locals continue to celebrate on Bourbon Street down in New Orleans, the advertising world is quickly recapping and critiquing this year’s batch of Superbowl commercials.
Here at AD:60 it seems Google caught our attention with it’s simple and thoughful approach. Overall, I think Bud Light fell a little short and Doritos had a mix of hits and misses. The GoDaddy shtick is getting old and Denny’s approach definitely won points based on stupidity.
In reviewing the Twitter universe it seems Boost Mobile and HomeAway.com both generated strong convesation, even though I found the Boost Mobile ad to be one of the weakest this year. It may have been the call to action online that kept the campaign alive.
In my opinion, E-Trade once again delivered a strong mix of ads, with the help of their very old baby campaign. Below are of our favorites.
